Wow! What a season! This has been Boogie Machine’s biggest year for outdoor concerts. We thought we should do a recap to show what it was like. The season got started early in Snowmass, CO on April 20 at  the 80’S BEACH PARTY with Ronnie Raygun and the Big 80s to celebrate the end of the ski season in Snowmass Base Village. Boogie Machine incognito as Ronnie Raygun and the Big Eighties is the perfect band for costume parties!

On January 16th, 2014, Boogie Machine left the afros at home and donned a variety of costumes to perform as Ronnie Raygun and the Big 80s for Ping Identity’s 2014 Kickoff Party at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. The theme this year was “heroes and villains” which spawned an endless barrage of “Whoa! Check that out!” ranging from the obvious to the irreverent. Another Groovy BOOtification BALL with Boogie Machine!

The Boo Ball is a fundraising event held each October for the purpose of boo-tifying Cheyenne, Wyoming. It features a Halloween costume party and contest, a silent auction, a dinner and a dance. Boogie Machine and the Boo Ball have been teaming up since 2005 to bring Cheyenne and it’s surrounding communities together in an effort to raise money to help beautify their city. This year’s proceeds will be used to adhere artistic wraps to 10 downtown traffic control boxes – the metal boxes on street corners near the traffic lights. Boogie Machine plays for CU Denver’s 40th Anniversary Celebration!

On August 22nd, we played an awesome event on the corner of 15th and Lawrence in Downtown Denver for CU Denver’s 40th Anniversary. After a performance by an amazing a cappella group,  we kicked off the show with some EW&F and laid down the funk for an awesome afternoon. The layout of this party was wonderful. Block partygoers could choose from a dozen food trucks and then work off the calories at the mobile ropes course, rock climbing wall, or of course, the dance floor.
