Boogie Machine’s Summer of Outdoor Concerts!

Wow! What a season! This has been Boogie Machine’s biggest year for outdoor concerts. We thought we should do a recap to show what it was like. The season got started early in Snowmass, CO on April 20 at  the 80’S BEACH PARTY with Ronnie Raygun and the Big 80s to celebrate the end of the ski season in Snowmass Base Village. It was a beautiful day for some 80s favorites. On June 1st, the season got kicked into high gear when Boogie Machine performed at the Denver Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square, which is a two day  festival. More than 200 artists Read More …

Boogie Machine and Ride the Rockies 2014!

Some of you may not know this, but Boogie Machine has a passion for cycling. Colorado is one of, if not THE BEST state to live in for cycling. This year we had the privilege of performing for the Ride the Rockies finale in Golden, CO and it was awesome! 2000 riders rode over 470 miles, climbing over 33,000 feet to end up flying down Lookout Mountain into the City of Golden. We hope to have team Boogie Machine in the ride in the near future.   Click on Mosaic for slide show.   What is Boogie Machine? Based in Read More …

Boogie Machine incognito as Ronnie Raygun and the Big Eighties is the perfect band for costume parties!

On January 16th, 2014, Boogie Machine left the afros at home and donned a variety of costumes to perform as Ronnie Raygun and the Big 80s for Ping Identity’s 2014 Kickoff Party at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. The theme this year was “heroes and villains” which spawned an endless barrage of “Whoa! Check that out!” ranging from the obvious to the irreverent. Ping Identity has consistently been our most creative client when it comes to their annual launch. The costumes are always over the top and you can count on being entertained by the crowd, making it one Read More …

What do you mean “Rotarians don’t dance?” You just haven’t had Boogie Machine yet.

On December 15th, Boogie Machine performed the Holiday Party for the Boulder Rotary Club in Boulder, CO at the Hotel Boulderado. I think the following quote says it all: “Boogie Machine was a huge hit for our party!  I was asked to plan a Christmas Party for a group of Rotarians ages 25-95, I was also asked to “spice things up”.  Boy did we have a “groovy” time!  Everyone was on the dance floor and the party was a huge success!!  Boogie Machine exceeded our expectations.  I totally recommend them!!” – Adrienne Bulinski Thanks Adrienne! We had a blast right Read More …

One of the busiest weekends Boogie Machine has ever had at Bistro Al Vino.

That’s right, it was slammin! Boogie Machine takes the stage at 8:30 and the dance floor fills immediately, but by 9:00 the place looks like it’s right at the peak of the night. Then it stays that way! Bistro Al Vino does an awesome job of taking care of their customers and you can count on seeing and talking to Al at least once each night. It’s kind of become Boogie Machine’s home away from home and is great place to dance. What is Boogie Machine? Based in Denver, CO, Boogie Machine is THE party band for hire! Are you Read More …

Boogie Machine! The 70s are alive and well at Nissi’s!

Great fun last night at Nissi’s. Seeing people who we haven’t seen in a while as well as some traveling clear from Cheyenne, WY to catch the show (thanks to uber fans Jerry and Marla). This also included who we call “hula hoop girl” who always shows up dressed to the nines in Disco attire. Nissi’s is a great place with great food and a full dance floor whenever Boogie Machine takes the stage. What is Boogie Machine? Based in Denver, CO, Boogie Machine is THE party band for hire, available coast to coast and worldwide. We’ve been bringing the Read More …

Boogie Machine Performs at Baker Street Pub in Westminster, CO.

Boogie Machine got to thoroughly remind partygoers just how much fun it is to dance to 70s music on Friday, October 4th at Baker St. Pub in Westminster. This is usually a spot where we play as our 80s band Ronnie Raygun and the Big Eighties, so it was a treat to give ’em something different.   What is Boogie Machine? Based in Denver, CO, Boogie Machine is THE party band for hire, available coast to coast and worldwide. We’ve been bringing the FunK to corporate holiday parties, weddings, and private events for over 15 years. Take a look at some of our corporate event Read More …

Our new Boogie Machine promo video!

We recently shot a new promo video. Many thanks to Al and Bistro Al Vino for allowing us to shoot there. As usual it was OUR crowd there. We get a great mix of age ranges and people always have a fun time. Ramblin’ Jackson came out and did a 3 camera setup, complete with a GoPro for the bass headstock and great shots of our drummer. The footage looks really good and I’m excited about the end product. Michelle and I did a “green screen” shooting at their studio in Boulder, and although I think I look like a Read More …

Boogie Machine plays for CU Denver’s 40th Anniversary Celebration!

On August 22nd, we played an awesome event on the corner of 15th and Lawrence in Downtown Denver for CU Denver’s 40th Anniversary. After a performance by an amazing a cappella group,  we kicked off the show with some EW&F and laid down the funk for an awesome afternoon. The layout of this party was wonderful. Block partygoers could choose from a dozen food trucks and then work off the calories at the mobile ropes course, rock climbing wall, or of course, the dance floor. I especially loved the grilled Peanut Butter & Jelly from Hey PB&J. It was open to the Read More …
