Can you believe it’s been 20 years!?

Before making the move to Denver in 1998 Boogie Machine was a 3-piece Top 40 Dance/Rock band called Lickety Split. We traveled full time playing 5 to 6 nights a week across the country and over seas in South Korea. When the market for traveling bands started its decline we realized it was time for a change and decided to rebrand ourselves after seeing another Disco band perform in Arizona. We began the transition by learning the new repertoire early in 1998 and made our plans to “get off the road”. After the move it took a while to get fully established in the area and one of our first shows in Denver was performing every Wednesday night at The Proof nightclub. From there we played regularly at Polly Esther’s and The Supreme Court while moving into the corporate and private party arena. Since then we have played well over 2000 shows including; Corporate Functions, Weddings, Summer Concerts, Festivals, and Nightclubs, and have traveled across the country from Palm Springs, CA to Philadelphia, PA and many locations in between.

We’d like to thank all our super groovy fans and clientele for helping us keep the spirit of the Disco era alive. We look forward to many more years of seeing your smiling, happy faces on the dance floor!!!
